Above all, we'd like to thank our families who have supported us, shared in our lives and made our dream day possible:

Pete Eltringham (Father of the Bride)
Randy Eltringham (Mother of the Bride)

Burke Eltringham (Brother of the Bride)
Courtney Eltringham (Sister of the Bride)
|

Robbie Cook (Brother of the Groom)
Pam Collins (Sister of the Groom)
|
We'd also like to take this opportunity to remember those close to us who supported us in life and were with us in spirit on our wedding day:
James Cook (Father of the Groom)
Anna Cook (Mother of the Groom)
Hal Newcome (Grandfather of the Bride)
Pat Newcome (Grandmother of the Bride)
Wedding Party
We'd like to thank our friends, without whom we may never have met and who have endured Ashley's neurotic wedding planning with great flexibility and support.

Gary Edge (Best Man)
Gary has been a great friend since we met in Houston during his bull riding and bull fighting days. He would truly give you the shirt off his back, but not without a joke and a smile. |
|
Kelly Thompson (Maid of Honor)
Kelly and I met honky tonkin' at Little Texas in Richmond. She has always been there for me and is a true friend to anyone who needs her. I am honored to have her as my maid of honor. |
|
| Ricky Kesner (Groomsman) Kathy Kesner (Bridesmaid)
I met Rick when he married Kathy. He's works in the Presidential Transportation Department of the Army. I have always enjoyed the concerts, rodeos, honky tonks and races we have gone to together.
I met Kathy almost immediately after I met Carl. In fact, we met the same night and have been friends ever since. She is an incredibly strong woman with the sweetest heart I know.

|
Rick Woolard (Groomsman)
Rick is a friend who enjoys hunting, camping, bluegrass and dogs. I knew when he offered to help us move without hardly knowing us that he would be a true friend. |
|
Becky Salus (Bridesmaid)
Becky is one of my longest friends. We met working together for CEA and spent many nights dancing until the wee hours of the morning. She always has a smiling face and a listening ear. |
|
| Cody Cook (Junior Groomsman & Son of the Groom) Brittany Cook (Junior Bridesmaid & Daughter of the Groom)
Cody enjoys video games, ice skating and playing basketball. He'll talk your ear off - just get him started.
Brittany enjoys her cell phone, computers and her girlfriends. She's quiet but there's always something going on in that beautiful redhead.

All of Our Family & Friends
We'd like to thank our family and friends - those who were with us on our wedding day and those who sent us kind thoughts and well wishes. We appreciate all of the cards and gifts that you all sent to us - not one has gone un-used. For those who gave memories off of the honeymoon registry, we would not have been able to have such a dream trip without you. We've posted details and pictures of our trip on our honeymooon page as part of our "Thank You"!
All Folks Behind the Scenes
There were a bunch of people "behind the scenes" who worked with us to make the wedding come together seamlessly. We'd like to recognize all of them and offer them all our highest recommendations. We hope that any and all reading this will consider them for future events.

Sarah Piggott & all the folks at the Marriott Ranch
(540) 364-2627 | http://www.marriottranch.com
Always professional, understanding and responsive with a genuine hospitality that is admirable beyond recognition. Our day would have been a shadow of what it was without Sarah and her staff.
Kevin Handy & The Southern Winds Band
(703) 492-1000 | http://www.southernwindsband.com
Undeniably the best honky tonkin' country & western band in Virginia and the greatest guys to boot! They were playing the night we met and we will be two-steppin' to their music for years to come!
Dawn Confer & Everlasting Flowers
(540) 364-1401
Creative, classic and a pleasure to work with. Dawn's services are above and beyond all expectations.
Barbara DeClemente & The Party Connection
(540) 347-7845
Truly an expert in her field. Barbara's flexibility has been instrumental in preparing a cake to be remembered for years to come - both in aesthetics and in taste!
HughJB Photography (see the photo album)
(703) 585-1595 | http://www.hughjb.com
Exceptionally imaginative and affordable with thoroughness that would make any bride comfortable. Hugh's personal attention was critical to capturing the story of our special day.
Bobbie Jo Andrews & New Creations
(540) 635-9481
Extremely affordable and professional hairstylists. Bobbie Jo and her staff were creative, imaginative and a joy to work with. All of the girls were thrilled with thier ideas and coordinating look for the entire wedding party!
Linda & TheBigDay.com
1-800-304-1141 | http://www.thebigday.com
Instead of the typical registry gifts (that we already had), we set up a honeymoon registry where friends and family could give us a portion of our honeymoon - for example, portions of our airfare, tickets to shows, a day of rental car, etc. TheBigDay.com has been helping couples create honeymoon registries since 2001 and helped us with our registry. Thier services, and Linda's attentive help, made it possible for our friends and family to give us the honeymoon of a lifetime!
